My puppy has no pedigree
She simply is a mutt
Still thinks that she is special
She’s not into all that stuff.
She holds her own with others
Doesn’t care about their genes
She sniffs around and plays with them
She’s trim and always clean.
She wears a simple collar
Eats her food out of a box
She is plain and very playful
She’s not cunning like a fox.
She is my little baby
So cuddly and cute
She comes running when you call her
Always thrilled to be with you.
Even though she is a mixed breed
To me she’s royalty
She’s my special little princess
She means everything to me.

Lovely. I agree, all this pedigree stuff is just nonsense. As long as a dog is nice natured, I don’t care whether its a pedigree or a mongrel. Same goes for people. Matters not where someone comes from, its how they behave that counts.

I despise ‘pedigree’ and the obsession with full breeds animals. Dog shows are especially bad at promoting pet eugenics. So good that she has a loving and caring family 🙂
