LIES

Stop lying, I’ve had enough
Tired of false hope and expectations
You’re never gonna change, it’s who you are
So tired of the senseless confrontations.

You’ll never settle down, you’ll always want more
You go out cruising every chance you get
You flirt, you charm, you turn it on
You just haven’t found anything better, yet.

We both know…it’s just a matter of time
And, I’m not waiting around to be replaced
I’m walking out, I’m leaving you
Your memory will be erased.

Up all night, asleep all day
Downing “Jack” till the break of dawn
Do me a favor this time….and don’t call
Cause when you get up, I’ll be long gone.

I’m packing up, bus leaves at noon
I won’t make time to sit and cry
Though I’m still hurting, I won’t be back
Just too tired of all the lies.
