A WASTE OF TIME

Wanting you
A waste of time
Should’a known
You’d change your mind.

All the while
Out for yourself
Telling me that
I need help.

Jealousy
Out right suspicion
Wasted words
You never listened.

Late night calls
Deleted texts
What was coming?
What was next?

Picking fights
No reasons left
Casting blame
I can’t forget.

All the lies
The hate and scorn
Left feeling lost
Battered and torn.
