When you say you’re leaving?
What can I possibly say
To make you start believing?

Thought you were being honest
Believed you when you told me
You said forever, you did…you promised.
Don’t let her come between us
You know that you are mine
She’ll never stay, she never does
She leaves you every time.
You’re just confused, I can tell
Let’s figure out a way
We’ll work it out….we always do
I need you….please, please stay.

Oh gosh Patty I hope this wasn’t a reflection on a past experience.
It flowed well and I could hear the desperation and pleading in the voice as well as visualising the sadness (and maybe anger) on her face
