PRENUP

You pose, you smile , you love attention
Love it every time you’re mentioned
The clothes, the shoes, the jewelry
Everything you get from me.

On my coat tails, in my bed
You take whatever you can get
Champagne, dinners, caviar
You tag along, you’ve come this far.

The traveling, the scenery
You get to be alone with me
My fans clamoring to hear me sing
You love the hype, you love the bling.

Like the girls that came before
In time you’ll walk right out that door
The arguing, the cold resentment
You’ll want more of a commitment.

The prenup will soon force your hand
If you don’t sign, I understand
Can’t take a chance, I need protection
Can’t look away or make exceptions.
