I LOVE SPAGHETTI

I really love spaghetti 
I really love the sauce
Not worried about the grocery bill
Don’t care about the cost!

Love the rich, red, velvet color
From the tomatoes that you grew
The basil and oregano 
The cloves of garlic, too!

Angel hair or ziti
As long as it’s al dente
I fill my plate with pasta
As much as you will give me. 

Sausages and meatballs
Prepared and served as well
Can’t believe the flavor
And the incredible way it smells. 

My plate served, almost ready
Where’s the Ricotta and Parmesan?
Don’t tell me there’s no grated cheese
Don’t tell me it’s all gone.

Ah , here it is …. A Masterpiece
Served together on my plate
Can’t wait to take my first bite
You know…. I just can’t wait.

That you’ve  come into my life
