JUST OLD AGE

Oh my lord, what should I do?
I can’t bend down, put on my shoes
Pain in my hip, pain in my knee
Please tell me what is wrong with me.

Call the doctor, call the nurse
The number’s there, it’s in my purse
What could have caused this injury?
What in the world, has happened to me?

Throbbing pain from my hip
I didn’t fall, I didn’t trip
I’ve spent my days just like before
Nothing less and nothing more.

Doctor says, it’s just old age
Soon they’ll put me in the grave
What am I supposed to do?
I’m feeling sad, I’m feeling blue.

Painful joints, pain in my bones
I can’t help but whine and moan
There’s got to be a pill or shot
It’s killing me, it hurts a lot.

I think I need some therapy
Some exercise, not surgery
Looking for my heating pad
It’s just too much, I’m feeling sad.

Hope I’m feeling better soon
Lunch with a friend today at noon
Feeling old before my time
Will bring my cane, will drink some wine.

Can’t believe the pain I have
Waking up and feeling bad
Maybe it’s just temporary
Aging is so Stinking Scary!
