He is not a leader
No concept of fairplay
He’s always been a bully
He always gets his way.

Brash, rude and so offensive
Using force with all his might
Steam rolling his way through life
Always looking for a fight.

Oblivious to social norms
So sure that he knows best
Lacks manners , has no morals
Wish that …. he’d give it a rest.

Seething with resentment
Wants it all, he never shares
Angry and so jealous
He wants us to be scared.

Power hungry, filled with rage
Greedy and insatiable
On a quest to have it all
Heartless and deplorable.

No morals or a conscience
Acquisitions are his goal
Envisions he’s a dictator
With pockets filled with gold.

Fantasies of dominance
One country at a time
Believes that he can conquer
Doesn’t care if it’s a crime.

Starting off with Greenland
He’s delusional ….?obsessed
Planning to push forward
Who knows what he’ll do next.

There’s going to be a world war
If we can’t reel him in
What were the people thinking
Who elected him again?

Gee … I wonder who this poem could be about??? Great job, Patty … you’ve pegged him to a ‘T’. Personally, I think the people who elected him in November were not thinking at all … they don’t use their brains, they use their emotions and get swept up in frenzy by the loudest voices promising inane things. I no longer have any friends who voted for him, for anybody that stupid cannot be considered a friend. Great poem!

Hang in, my friend. It’s gonna be a long and rocky road ahead, and we all need to stay in the fight to the very end, win or lose. So, don’t flip out just yet, okay? Find a way to turn your angst into something positive … write about it, join a protest movement, put up a dartboard with Trump’s face on it and throw darts at it every time you feel like you just can’t take any more!
