MOVE ON

What is it that you want from me?
What are you looking for?
Take a hint, turn around
Walk on out the door.

Gotta know that you’re not welcome
You really have some nerve
Showing up, walking in
I guess you haven’t heard.

I found someone that I can trust
Someone who makes me laugh
Someone who I can turn to
He’s now my better half.

I’ve heard all your excuses
I’ve listened to your lies
I don’t need to tolerate
Your senseless alibis.

Move on, nothing to talk about
There’s nothing here for you
You burned all of your bridges
You’re just someone I once knew.

Apologies unaccepted
The pain cut way too deep
Unable to rehash the noise
You’re putting me to sleep.

I’m no longer interested
Not going to play your game
Been there, done that, more times than not
Don’t need more of the same.
