SPIDERS AND DUST

Spiders and dust
In every room
Get out the vacuum
Take out the broom.

Your clothes and your shoes
Now left on the floor
Pick them all up
Don’t just close the door.

Pick up the clutter
The papers, the books
Clean off the counter
Whenever you cook.

Everything has
A place of its own
Take care of your keys
Your purse and your phone.

Get organized
Soon you’ll feel better
It just takes some time
To pull it together.

Avoidance, a ploy
A means to an end
Won’t make you feel better
Let’s start, let’s begin.

One room at a time
One drawer to go through
I know you can do this
I have faith in you.
