WAR CRIMES

Giving credit to a madman
A dollar late, a dollar short
He’s no savior, saint or hero
You should know what he came for.

What became of all the others
Left to die in tunnels below
Now he waltzes in taking credit
For bringing the remaining survivors back home.

Yes, grateful for the 20 still standing
Those who have made it out, though barely alive
They were abused and physically tortured
Forced to watch as the others all died.

A staunch ally of Netanyahu
With blood dripping from both of their hands
No regard for the rights of the people
There to  take away all of their land.

The destruction, the demise of Gaza
The bombings, the killings, the pain
The starvation inflicted upon them
They should feel nothing less… than ashamed.

Hamas the enemy, before us
The hostages now being released
The horror they inflicted…. upon them
Will this madness ever stop, ever cease?

The  plan, a militarized take over
By a Zionist,  heartless regime
Destruction of towns and cities
The worst that we’ve ever seen.

The genocide of the Palestinian nation
A manifestation of power and greed
They don’t care if they’re starving or bleeding
They don’t care what they want or they need.

There’s dark money behind this land venture
A political move, vile and grotesque
A congress that is cold and complicit
They will do anything that he says.

They should both be brought up on charges
Guilty of mass murder and horrific war crimes
Blatantly, without courage or honor
They take what they want every time
