STORAGE

You pay to store nonsense
Nik naks … galore
Papers in boxes
Piled up on the floor.

The mangers, the donkeys
You only need one
Mary gave birth
To only one son.

Who needs three Mary’s
three Joseph’s, six cows
 12 camels, or raccoons
Four goats and a sow?

A ton of old bedding
That you’ll  never use
A large crate of cd’s
And, worn out old shoes.

The paintings, the books
The ribbons  and bows
Photos of people
You don’t even know.

The hoarding, so selfish
You just can’t let go
The ticket stubs saved
From your favorite shows.

Your stuff sits in storage
Year after year
You’re paying a fortune
This much is clear.

The clothes and the hats
That you’ll never wear
Should give them away
This doesn’t seem fair.

Why? Ask yourself ….
Do you want to do this?
You’re wasting your money
On things you won’t miss.
