I went to the “March For Our Lives” yesterday in Melbourne, Florida. It was amazing to see over 3,000 people gathered locally and to learn that there were 800,000 gathered in Washington DC. The speeches given by the students were amazing!!!
The purpose of the march was to try and garner awareness and hopefully put an end to gun violence, in the United States. The march was held in other countries outside of the U.S., as well. Thank you to everyone that participated! We are grateful for your support!!!!
There were small children, teens, adults and grandparents … all in attendance! Kudos to the students of Parkland, Florida….who have rallied millions of people… all over our country and the world!!!!!
Our country is in crisis. Hopefully the politicians will come to their senses! Trump played golf at Mar-a-Lago yesterday, instead of attending the march and showing solidarity for the students…. who have lost friends and loved ones… in the tragic shooting that occurred, at their school. These students are future voters! They are the hope of our country!!!! I am hopeful that change is forthcoming!

Me, too! There have already been some changes in Florida, as a result of the pressure from the students . A bill was signed to raise the age to buy a hand gun, from 18 to 21. And, they have stopped the sale of bump stocks/bump stops , (The equipment used to alter a semiautomatic weapon and have it fire like an automatic weapon is known as a bump stock/stop). Next, we need to get them to BAN ASSAULT RIFLES!!!!! Thank you for commenting!!!! 🙂
