Rush

Don’t be in such a rush
To make it thru the day
Savor every moment
That has come your way.

Time passes by, before too long
Soon it will all run out
You’ll wonder where it all went
What was it all about?

Tell those you love how you feel
Make sure your family knows
How much you truly love them
Before it’s time to go.

Wasting so much time in life
Running here and running there
Never taking the time it takes
To say we really care.

When it’s all over, when you’re gone
It won’t matter anymore
The time is now, step right up
What are you waiting for?
