Prompt: ARCHAIC
An archaic means of coping
To rely on booze and pills
To hope that things will calm down
By sheer wishing and good will.
Take charge and make things happen
Keep your mind clear and free of drugs
You need all of your faculties
Every plan you can think of.
Don’t leave it all to chance, my friend
Don’t count on ‘hit and miss”
Make up your mind to do your best
To take good care of this.
Get on track, stay on course
There is turmoil up ahead
But you can manage all of it
By getting out of bed.
Making good decisions
Requires an open mind
Go in with your eyes open
Don’t be left behind.

Well said and thanks for sharing!!… 🙂
“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary” Steve Jobs

Excellent advice in a fun poem – get out of bed!
You often find that just by taking that first step to change things, they become easier. 🙂
