An evil mind
Devoid of love
Of any kind.
Cages children
Puts up walls
Comes a running
When Putin calls.
Craves attention
Schemes and lies
Turns his back
When children cry.
Doesn’t know
Wrong from right
Can’t discern
Dark from light.
Can’t believe
In plain view
He can deceive
He’s fooling you.
Please wake up
Come to your senses
Stop erecting
Chain link fences.
Soap and water
A human right
A blanket to keep you
Warm at night.
Open your eyes
Don’t turn away
Our country’s values
Are slipping away.
