THE ANGER, THE RAGE

Defensive, on guard
The walls and the shield
The fear and  the rage
The anger you feel.

Feeling unsure
Afraid and alone
Blaming, projecting
The pain all your own.

Unable to listen
Too angry to hear
Pointing a finger
To make your point clear.

Too soon to pass judgement
Too quick to decide
You’re  closing your mind
Believing the lies.

Conspiracy theories
Play on the weak
So easily molded
The small and the meek.
