SPILT MILK

Don’t cry over spilt milk
Let it go …. just walk away
Don’t replay those arguments
The things she used to say.

It’s time for you to let it go
It wasn’t meant to be
Try a new perspective
Like the butterfly …. set it free.

Don’t dare lock or close the door
There’s other fish out in the sea
There’s someone waiting in the wings
She ‘s waiting patiently.

She’ll wrap her arms around you

She will want, want only you

She’ll shower you with so much love

You won’t know what to do.,

Think you couldn’t trust her

But you would be dead wrong

She’d be there right by your side

You’d never be alone.

Though you’re feeling down and out
Pick yourself up off the floor
Grab ahold… with all your might
That’s what bootstraps are made for.

You got this…. take it easy
Let your troubles fade away
There beyond the meadow
Up ahead are better days.
