THE CALL OF THE WILD

The music was playing
The lights turned down low
You held me close
Didn’t want me to go.

You felt so familiar
Your kiss warm and smooth
Everything that I wanted
I wanted with you.

The warmth of your skin
The same as before
The craving….  the feelings
The longing for more.

The wine and the candles
The romance …. the lust
Nothing else mattered
Only you…. only us.

The rapture …. the madness
You said ,” I want you”
I was out of my mind
Didn’t know what to do.

The call of the wild
I wanted to scream
Every move that you made
Was it real or a dream?

The surge of emotion
The joy and the bliss
I longed to be touched
To be held ….. to be kissed.
