SAND OR SNOW?

Dark and grey
It’s overcast
Snow’s expected
It may pass.

Homebound … stuck
Will stay inside
Pinched myself
I’m still alive.

Winter months
Hard to endure
Ice and snow
It’s cold, for sure.

Fantasies of
Sandy beaches
Deep diving
With the ocean’s creatures.

Cocktails under
Striped umbrellas
Filled with ice
Top shelf, they tell us.

Sitting by
A cozy fire
I fell asleep
Yes, I was tired.

Can’t decide
Just where to go
Beach or mountains
Sand or snow?

Summers north
So beautiful
I hate the heat
Guess, I’m no fool.

Beach fun
Part of one’s vacation
A mountain view
True relaxation.
