Can’t tell them what to do
Can’t control what they think
Or make them feel for you.
No amount of pressure
Will make them fall in love
Nothing that you could say
Would ever be enough.
If the chemistry between you
For some reason isn’t right
No amount of wishful thinking
Can turn daylight into night.
You could climb the highest mountain
You could try your very best
But no matter what you do or say
You will never pass their test.
Don’t beg and plead for mercy

I was in the hospital for a few days last week, but I’m sort of back on my feet now! This getting old is for the birds!!! 💖

I’m on the mend, you might say. Still not 100%, but heck, I haven’t been at 100% since my heart troubles started back in 2021. But, I’m hanging in … thanks for caring, my dear friend, and thanks for the healing energy and hugs! Big hugs back to you!!! 💗

Oh yeah … I was born with heart issues, but they didn’t cause me too much trouble until a few years ago … old age, y’know! No, hospitals are NOT fun and this one was a nightmare! Dirty linens left from the previous patient in that room, nurses not answering call bell, dirty bathroom … I finally just checked myself out when the docs wouldn’t release me!

No worries … a kidney infection and a the usual with the heart, but the docs couldn’t decide on which antibiotic I needed, so after three days I said, “Enough! I’m going home … when you guys decide, you can call in a prescription to my pharmacy!” And they did, and the infection is all gone now … we hope, anyway. Waiting on a blood test to make sure! Nope, no surgery!
