FOR NILMA …..

An angel once  appeared to me
She was standing at my door
She came to help me with my cats
That’s what she had come for. 

Hard to believe unselfishly 
She came  to my rescue
Without any  expectations
Her heart…. so warm, so true. 

The cats were not afraid of her
Drawn  to her gentle touch 
It was obvious , so clear to me
They loved her very much. 

She would come to see them everyday 
Bring  water, food and  treats
She was there to take good care of them 
To fulfill  all of their  needs. 

You may not see her halo
Her wings are hidden too
But,  I know deep down …within my heart
She’s an angel through and through. 

Always thoughtful, kind and caring
She’ll reach out her hand to you
She will try and help you,  if she can
Do whatever she can do. 

So lucky to have met her
I feel blessed, grateful , so loved
Happy God sent me an angel
She was  sent from up above.
