Full circle  …..  in a guilded cage
It’s all the same
No one’s to blame. 

The people that I cared about
Beyond my reach
Above the clouds.

I play my music.. Sit alone
No one listens
No one’s home. 

I feel like I’m still 10 year’s old.
I feel that way
Truth is …. I’m old. 

I watch TV,  all by myself
No one to call
To ask for help.

I feel so sad, so all alone.
How did this happen? 
Why have they gone?.

They dropped like flies.
So sad, I grieved
Hard to accept, hard to believe.

Remembering our childhood days
The innocence
Our childish ways.

Longevity.…. extended life
How does that feel
Without your wife?

Last man standing, all alone
All your loved ones
Now are gone.

They won’t step up .… cause  they’re afraid 
Can’t lose their seat, they must obey
They are convinced, Trump holds the cards
Why are they making … this so hard?

Liar, liar .… pants on fire
Things are bad, yes things are dire
Nothing that …. he says is true
If you object, he’ll bury you. 

They are too weak, won’t  take a stand
They bow and courtesy, shake his hand
He says to jump, they ask how high
Won’t call him out and we know why.

A downward spiral, no turning back
Won’t face the truth, accept the facts
He takes the win, he has control
The weaker man  …. does what he’s told. 

Every order and every bill
Is not the people’s plan or will
They give in …. to all his stunts
The sycophants ….. do what he wants. 

The nominations they voted for
Are a disgrace …. down to the core
They are a cult, it’s plain and simple
They are weak, they have been crippled. 

Take to the streets, we have no choice
They have no honor, they have no voice
This is  a battle that we must win
We must denounce Trump,  once again.

Two inches long

So thankful

Trump was at it again
Can’t count on the Republicans
Our future’s looking grim. 

Trump’s in bed with Putin
It’s so blatantly obvious 
Expecting an apology
Is totally ludicrous!

No manners, class or courtesy 
An ambush, clear and simple
Vance and Trump tried their best
But, Zelenskyy never crumbled.

Nothing but a spectacle 
An attempt to intimidate
A man of pure devotion
Who does not give in to hate.

Nothing but a bully
A dictator wannabe
Giving us a look inside
How scary things can be. 

A rogue reporter slithers in
Launching a verbal attack
A sure plant, who thinks he’s smart
Should not be invited back.

In an effort to save his country
He does what he needs to do
He doesn’t need a suit and tie
To prove anything to you.

How dare they speak of gratitude
Who do they think they are?
Zelenskyy is a hero
A better man, by far!
