A RAINY DAY

Rain on the window
Dark clouds in the sky
Flowers are dancing
The weeds will comply.

Snails heading for cover
Birds in their nests
Squirrels in the trees
It’s as good, as it gets.

Raindrops and dewdrops
Converge on the leaves
A  soothing sweet nectar
For flowers and bees.

Rain boots and raincoats
Umbrellas in hand
A walk through the garden
We stroll hand in hand.
