LOCK THE DOOR

You’re saying that you’re sorry
But I don’t believe you
Why keep repeating?
Think I never knew?

The cheating and the lying
The late night calls
Emails and  texts
So  tired of it all.

Begging and pleading
More of your lies
Not going to listen
Not going to try.

The same sad story
Told time and again
We’re done, it’s over
I need this to end.

Pack up your things
Get out, don’t come back
I’m changing my number
I’m changing the lock.

Don’t  even try
Try twisting my arm
Don’t waste your breath
Your smile or your charm.

I need you to go
Don’t ever come back
The door will be closed
The door will be locked.
