SO HARD

So hard to see you
It hurts so bad
Knowing it’s over
Feeling so sad.

You’re  holding her hand
It’s  breaking my heart
Knowing you’re with her
Tears me apart.

She gets your smile
And kiss good night
What happened to us?
This can’t be right.

My heart is racing
I’m feeling weak
How long have you known her?
Where did you meet?

What was it about her?
That you had to have
You seem so happy
You both start to laugh.

I want to forget you
And all of the times
That you said…. forever
When you were mine.

I feel like a fool
I don’t want to cry
Why did you leave me?
Why did you lie?

I’m ready to go
To get out of here
Please don’t walk over
That would be weird.

A tap on the shoulder
As I turn to leave
You say you’re sorry
That you’re missing me.

So hard to see you
Standing there
My hands are shaking
This isn’t fair.

Forcing a smile
I look in your eyes
I try to be cool
I try not to cry.
