NO REMORSE

Broken into pieces
No chance to be repaired
Like fragments of some splintered glass
They’re scattered everywhere.

Why let another person
Destroy your inner core?
Your self-respect is valuable
You’re worth so much more.

You’re hanging on, you won’t let go
What a senseless waste of time
She’s moved on to someone else
She’s not going to change her mind.

Someday you’re going to realize
All the time that you have wasted
She doesn’t deserve your accolades
Her ego’s ….. already so inflated.

A narcissist sees only themselves
They don’t consider any others
They come first, they always will
They will show you their true colors.

Once they tire of being with you
They will leave and won’t look back
Remorse and regret are feelings that they
Unfortunately, seem to lack.
