He was a rebel
He stood his ground
He resisted
Wouldn’t wear the crown.
He walked away
From money and fame
Told his parents
To keep their name.
Made his own way
Took to the road
Wouldn’t listen
To what he was told.
Was his own man
Didn’t answer to
Anyone…who
Told him what to do.
Had two children
Who were honorable
So accomplished
And unstoppable.
They made a difference
In the life of others
Had respect for
Their dad and mother.
No compromise
He lived his life
Stood for honor
And loved his wife.
Though a rebel
Has earned respect
He’d be remembered
They won’t forget.
